Peruvian Slug Bugs

March 5, 2011

So, many of you may have heard of the game ‘Slug Bug’.  Well it has been in full force here in Peru – particularly Lima where the streets seem to be lined with Volkswagen Beetles.

Jen and I got into a good debate about what you actually say when you spot the precious car that allows you to (gently) hit your significant other. I say it is “[color] slug bug, no slugs back” and Jen says it is simply “[color] slug bug”.  Obviously I am most likely the correct one – right?

This was a great find...

Well either way, we are highly enjoying it and on days where we are very tired or sick it seems to perk us up and provide a good laugh.  Plus, our competitive spirits get revved up and I am way better than her and winning easily!

Be safe out there kids… watch out for beetles,

Steven

Steven wanted to write that post so he could pretend like he is better than me at this game. Clearly I am winning judging from the bruises on his arm.

#1 your biased, so that obviously doesn’t count.
#2 I guess you would get hit back.
#3 please refer to the previous two numbers

#1 your vs. you’re. Learn the difference. 🙂
#2 I had a lot of padding when I was little so “hit backs” didn’t scare me.
#3 yes, I am biased. I’ll always go with Jen…but I love you too, Steven.
